Pick of the crop. You can run but you can't hide. 
For this project I have been letting the brush strokes dictate the shapes and positions of my illustrations.  I immediately saw this enormous hand in the underglaze. 
The piece is slab built from terracotta earthenware  and decorated with a painterly white underglaze with a sgraffito illustration. It is finished with a clear matte glaze.
